Composition
Each ml contains:
Amoxicillin trihydrate ……………… 150 mg.
Gentamycin (as sulfate) …………… 40 mg.
Indications
For the treatment of gastrointestinal, respiratory and intramammary infections caused by bacteria sensitive to the combination of amoxicillin and gentamycin, such as pneumonia, diarrhoea, bacterial enteritis, mastitis, metritis and cutaneous abscesses.
Dosage and administration
Shake well before use.
Administer by intramuscular injection. The general dosage is 1 ml per 10 kg body weight per day for 3 days.
Cattle, horses: 1 ml/10 kg b.w.
Goats, sheep: Adult: 1 ml/10 kg b.w; Small: 1 ml/6 kg b.w.
Dogs, cats: 1 ml/8-10 kg b.w.
Do not administer more than 20 ml in cattle or more than
5 ml in calves per injection site to favor absorption and dispersion.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity towards amoxicillin or gentamycin.
Administration to animals with a seriously impaired hepatic and/or renal function.
Concurrent administration of tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides.
Concurrent administration of nephrotoxic compounds.
Withdrawal period
Meat: 30 days. Milk: 2 days.
Storage
Store in a cool and dry place below 30℃, protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.
Validity
2 years.
