Composition
Ampicillin trihydrate………………………100 mg.
Colistin sulfate……………………………… 250 000 I.U.
Dexamethasone sodium phosphate………250mcg.
Indications
For treatment of infections caused by bacteria susceptible to the combination of Ampicillin and Colistin, like intestinal-, respiratory- and urogenital infections, Mastitis, Metritis, Arthritis and secondary infections during the course of viral diseases.
Dosage and administration
Shake well before use.
Administer by intramuscular injection.
General dose: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight.
Frequency: Twice a day for 3 days.
Precautions
Do not administer by the intravenous route.
The needle and the cylinder should be dry.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Do not administer to animals with renal dysfunctions, newborns, small herbivores (like rabbits and guinea pigs), infections caused by penicillinase-producing micro-organisms.
Do not combine with fast-acting bacteriostatic antimicrobial drugs, like tetracyclines, Chloramphenicol.
Do not use in pregnant animals.
Side effects
Local irritation, hypersensitivity reactions.
Prolonged administration of higher than recommended doses may result in kidney damage (due to colistin) and normally reversible neurotoxic symptoms.
Withdrawal period
Meat: 14 days.
Milk: 3 days (6 milkings).

Storage
Store in a cool and dry place below 30℃, protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.
Validity
2 years.
