On June 16th, Chongqing Municipal Economic Information Commission released the list of 2024 municipal level unicorn and gazelle enterprises. Chongqing Fangtong Animal Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was awarded the title of “gazelle enterprise” in Chongqing in 2024.
The recognition standards for “gazelle enterprises” are jointly developed by Chongqing Municipal Economic Information Commission and professional institutions. This title is aimed at high growth high-tech enterprises, requiring them to achieve leapfrog development through core technological breakthroughs, with characteristics such as fast growth rate, strong innovation ability, new professional fields, and great development potential, being “fast-running, high-jumping, strong in innovation capabilities, new in professional fields, and having great development potential”
Fangtong was founded in 1999, jointly invested by experts and professors from Southwest University. It is a large high-tech enterprise that integrates animal health, drug research and development, production, and sales. Fangtong always puts product quality and efficacy first. At present, Fangtong has 10 workshops, 25 production lines, 25 dosage forms, and over 300 varieties of products that are popular in domestic and international markets.
