Composition
The product is yellow or pale yellow powder. Each gram contains:
Tylosin tartrate …………………………………………..100 mg

Description
Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic with bacteriostatic activity mainly against gram-positive as well as some gram-negative bacteria.
Doxycycline is a tetracycline antibiotic with bacteriostatic activity against gram-positive and gramnegative bacteria, including Mycoplasma spp, Rickettsia spp. and Chlamydia spp.
When combined, tylosin and doxycycline act synergistically.
Indications
For the treatment of bacterial infections in calves, swine and poultry, caused by microorganisms
susceptible to tylosin and doxycycline, particularly gastrointestinal and respiratory infections.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to macrolides or tetracyclines, severe hepatic or renal impairment, active microbial digestion.
Dosage and administration
For oral administration in drinking water or feed.
Calves: 500 g per 400 calves of 50 kg body weight per day for 3 – 5 days;
Swine: 100 g per 200 – 400 litres of water per day for 3 – 5 days;
Poultry: 100 g per 200 – 400 litres of water per day for 3 – 5 days.
Medicated water or feed should be used immediately and refreshed every 24 hours for the duration of the treatment.
Precautions and warnings:
It is recommended that the susceptibility of the causative microorganisms is established before treatment is commenced.
Severely sick animals have altered drinking patterns and may need to be medicated parenterally.
Dosage may need to be adjusted to reflect herd or flock water consumption.
Withdrawal times:
Meat: 15 days;
Eggs: 4 days.
Storage
Store in a cool and dry place below 30℃, protect from light.
Do not freeze.
Validity
